Makers Market

From ceramics and paintings to books, jewellery, vintage fabrics and drum kit plant pots – Coulters Makers Market is packed with treasures. Swing by daily from 10.00AM to 6.00PM.

1. The Makery

Emma Westwater and Nem Sarton spend their time making bright colourful jewellery and homewares in acrylic, wood and print. Be sure to visit their weird and wonderful world of weather, wild animals and water life!

2. Support the Makers

A collective of local makers from the Support The Makers community all working together to bring you a gorgeous range of accessories, jewellery, homeware, textiles and much more from End of Terrace Trading, Fiddy & Mabel, Made By Ruu and Solas Sea Glass.

3. Joy Revival Design

Joy Revival Design makes vibrant, sustainably driven homeware and accessories. Often using cork, sea glass, and vintage fabrics to create items including eco-lampshades, unique footstools, handbags, and jewellery.

4. Bonzo Art

Local, professional artist Rachel Marshall captures life by the sea in original paintings, giftware, cards and prints. Coastal inspired and often with humour, Rachel works from her studio in the middle of North Berwick High Street and her work is collected worldwide.

5. Trinket Pixie Jewellery

Trinket Pixie Jewellery offers a collection inspired by coastal living and the wild beauty of the Scottish coast. Each handmade, unique piece tells a story or memory, creating a personal connection with its wearer. This jewellery is made to be worn, felt, and loved.

6. Beach Hut No 5

Beach Hut No 5 are a collective of artists and makers based at the beach huts at North Berwick harbour. Returning for a pop-up at Fringe By The Sea, they’ll be showcasing work from Designs from the Edge, Daynan Designs Jewellery, My Weaving Journey, North Berwick Candles, as well as other fabulous local makers.

7. Georgina Bown

Established local artist Georgina Bown will be launching her new creations of ‘Renegades of the Deep’. Her fascination, creative vision and edgy humour are all included in this unique range of usable products.

8. Flam Homewares

Flam, founded by Edinburgh-based maker Darren, transforms old drum kits into unique, handcrafted homewares. Each piece is meticulously crafted in his studio, offering a striking blend of music and design. Flam’s products have found homes across six countries and are sold in stores across the UK, bringing sustainable, one-of-a-kind pieces to spaces worldwide.

9. Beeseep Organics & Melt Me Real Good

Beeseep Organics offers beautifully crafted soaps and sponges that reconnect you with nature through scent, touch, and sustainability. Melt Me Real Good creates award-winning home fragrances inspired by Scotland’s landscapes and wildlife. From Highland glens to friendly coos, each scent tells a story. Together, they celebrate natural living, eco-conscious design, and the magic of the great outdoors.

10. Gather Homeware & Ella Fletcher Ceramics

Gather Homeware brings bold, sustainable homeware to life with hand-cast Jesmonite pieces made in North Berwick by designer Julie Towner. Ella Fletcher creates joyful, vibrant ceramics from her Midlothian studio – designed for everyday use and bursting with colour. Both makers craft distinctive alternatives to mass-made décor, blending beauty, durability, and personality for homes that celebrate individuality.

11. Night Owl Books

Night Owl Books is an independent bookshop in East Linton, East Lothian, founded in April 2022. The bookshop will be popping up at FBTS with a signing table at each author event, as well as in the Coulters Makers Market, where you’ll find a carefully curated selection of books for both adults and children, including signed titles by authors appearing at the festival.
