PASSION FOR THE ARTS

Everything we do is based around our belief that the arts can serve as a connecting force in communities.

We believe in all forms of art. Unlike many festivals, we are not simply a ‘headline act’ event but multi-arts and include authors, music, spoken word, street performance, craft, dance, food & drink, art, comedy, conversation, film, theatre, floral designers and many more diverse performances.

Through harnessing the arts across these varied forms we aim to create new opportunities for people in East Lothian, either through experience or participation, which help develop connections with others, boost wellbeing and creating a more resilient future for individuals, families and communities.

In 2023 one of the key aims of the festival was to help foster connections across the community, breaking down stereotypes and allowing different voices to be heard.
