Annie moved back to North Berwick two years ago and works from her garden studio. She paints abstracted landscapes often inspired by the East Lothian coast and countryside, using mixed media and acrylic paint.

Her work begins life with real places, but her process also involves a distillation of memory, intuition and response to the materials, creating abstract landscapes rich with colour, texture and emotion. She exhibits in a number of galleries around Scotland.
