Come and Play!
Friday 9th August 2024

10am-1pm
Drop By. Free.
Creative Builders and Imaginative Architects: Design Your Dream Playground. Come play, build, and design with us! Join volunteers from Project Play for a fun-filled adventure with our collection of loose parts play (fabric, cardboard, wood, pots – you never know what you might find!). Enjoy creating and building – a tower, a den, a vehicle, make a game – let your imagination loose…
As young architects, you can also come and draw, model, or build your ‘dream playground’. We want to know what you think makes outside fun, which are the best places for you to play in East Lothian, and how we can improve what we already have here in North Berwick. Project Play 2024 is a volunteer-led initiative which seeks to work in partnership with the law primary school, The Parent Council and East Lothian Council. The group is working to strengthen and enhance the Law Primary School campus and surrounding areas, to create opportunities for outdoor learning and play. We are focussed on community engagement, delivering specific projects, as well as providing ongoing maintenance. We aim to help children to play more and enjoy the outdoors more and so create a healthier, happier community for everyone.
All ages welcome.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
The Kids Zone venue is wheelchair accessible.
