An enlightening discussion on the role of fungi in our ecosystems and in our lives. Neville will explore the mysteries and myths of this hidden and often forgotten kingdom that underpins all life on the planet. This talk will cover many types of mushrooms one is likely to encounter and demonstrate how one might identify these species. His recently published book covers the pleasures and pitfalls of foraging. Guiding the reader through the process of how to collect mushrooms safely and sustainably, as well as taking a close look at types of mushroom poisoning.
