The award-winning Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company presents its long-awaited 2nd production Andalucia, a stunning flamenco production accompanied by a chamber orchestra.

This extra special concert is a musical representation of the 8 regions that make up the autonomous community of Andalucia in the South of Spain, the birthplace of flamenco; Cordoba, Sevilla, Cadiz, Malaga, Jaen, Granada, Huelva and Almeria. Each region has their own distinct take on the very many diverse styles that make up flamenco and these will be beautifully presented to the audience through Daniel’s guitar, and accompanied by an array of flamenco musicians, singers, a chamber orchestra ensemble and flamenco dance.

Daniel Martinez is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer from Cordoba, based in Scotland since 2015. His first production Art of Believing won the Herald Angel Award in 2019’s Edinburgh International Festival and has been captivating audiences since its premier in October 2017. The Art of Believing tour 2022/23 has been selling out theatres in cities such as Manchester, Exeter, Swansea, Brighton, Cardiff, Bristol, Poole, Inverness, Aberdeen, Liverpool, York & Norwich with more dates coming up in 2023 in Leeds, Hull, Reading, Peterborough, Birmingham and Coventry, and many more dates still to be announced.

This is a seated event (unreserved).

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

The Big Top venue is wheelchair accessible.
