The Nest | Sula bassana

Naomi Mcintosh – Erland Cooper

Commissioned by Fringe by the Sea for LOVE OF LIFE (biophilia)

‘A place to feel held, to be suspended in reflection, to wonder, to dream, to hope.’

Pause at The Nest, a sonic sculpture threaded with elements of a symphonic composition inspired by connection, resilience and wonder.

Artist Naomi Mcintosh invites you to take a moment to weave through the spirals of a tapestry capturing tangle, gathering and flight.

All around, a soundscape of Sula bassana, a symphonic meditation on North Berwick, the Firth of Forth, the Air, the Sea and the Land, composed by Erland Cooper for LOVE OF LIFE.

Celebrating the joy of deeper connections with all that surrounds us, the natural world and our communities.

Feel more, feel good and feel your way forwards for our shared future.
