Holger Mohaupt is an artist and filmmaker based in North Berwick, whose work focuses on heritage and community.

The Beach Hut is a new piece of work inspired by North Berwick’s long time history as a seaside resort. Holger built a life size model of a hut, which was a common sight in North Berwick up to the early 1970s. The model is based on a sketch by local craftsman Stewart Auld. Stewart and his family started building beach huts and hired deckchairs and windbreaks in 1876.
