One of the UK’s most successful stand‑ups, Russell Howard brings his razor‑sharp comedy to Fringe by the Sea.

Star of The Russell Howard Hour and Good News, with over a billion online views and millions of tickets sold worldwide, he’s fresh from his biggest global tour and a record‑breaking run at the London Palladium. Expect world‑class observational comedy from a performer at the top of his game.

Russell will perform a headline set as part of the comedy club evening, which will also feature an array of comedy talent all delivering sharp, high‑energy sets throughout the night.

Russell is the headline act with an evening of stellar support acts, hosted by Chris Forbes, Star of hit BBC Scotland shows such as Scot Squad, The Farm & The Other Murray Brother, Forbes is a multi award winning stand up comedian who has performed all over the world.

Support comes from Susan Riddell, a fast‑rising Glaswegian comedian, actor and writer, nominated for the Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award and named in The List’s Hot 100. She’s appeared across major BBC comedy shows, created and starred in her sitcom pilot Dregs.

Completing the lineup, Phil Ellis is a long‑standing Edinburgh Fringe favourite whose inventive, chaotic comedy has earned major acclaim, including the Malcolm Hardee Award and an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination. He’s appeared on Taskmaster, The Russell Howard Hour and Drunk History, and co‑writes and stars in the hit BBC Radio 4 sitcom Phil Ellis is Trying.
