Join our community planting project and help create a shared wildflower meadow for Fringe by the Sea 2026.
THE CHALLENGE
A certain kind of magic happens when Fringe by the Sea springs up each year in North Berwick. We’re harnessing that collective feel-good spirit to create something beautiful together.
This year we’re inviting individuals, families, schools, community groups and businesses to grow a mini wildflower meadow in a pot.
Each one will become part of a vibrant, shared wildflower meadow installation at our festival hub in the Lodge Grounds during Fringe by the Sea 2026 – a powerful way of showing how small acts can grow into something bigger together.

WHY WILDFLOWERS?
Wildflower meadows are a simple way to create something beautiful while supporting bees, butterflies and other important pollinators.
Even small spaces – including pots – can help increase biodiversity by providing food and shelter for wildlife.
By taking part, you’ll be helping create new wildflower habitats across North Berwick.
