A brand‑new family mini‑opera starring Scotland’s own Jamie MacDougall and the acclaimed Quorum Arts Collective, bringing the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel to life with music, magic and plenty of heart.

Lost in the enchanted forest, the siblings discover a gingerbread cottage and a kindly old woman who may not be quite what she seems. With wonderful songs, brave adventures and a little secret help along the way, they journey toward home and safety. Packed with gorgeous tunes, this 50‑minute show is a festive treat for children and grown‑ups alike.

Quorum Arts Collective is a new ensemble based in East Lothian which creates music-based projects along with dance, visual arts and theatre. With a strong focus on community and young artists, Quorum brings together exciting talents to explore how music relates to the wider world: landscape, people, everyday life.

This is a seated event (unreserved). The Lodge venue is wheelchair accessible.
